Members of Women’s Board of New Azerbaijan Party Khatai District Office visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, February 11.

They viewed photographs taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting separate eras of his activity.

The national leader always highly valued the role of Azeri woman in the country’s public, political, cultural spheres. The historical decrees and other important documents he signed on implementation of the state woman policy in the country changed women into one of the moving forces of the society. Words ‘In comparison with many other countries, Azerbaijani woman possesses higher place and position in society’ he said in the solemn ceremony on International Women’s Day in March 1990 personify respect and love for Azeri woman.

Guests were familiarized with numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of the genius person’s life, gifts presented by world-famous figures of politics, books on the national leader, saw photos taken with leaders of different countries, figures of science, culture and art.

They were told the Foundation’s major purpose is to study and propagate the rich scientific and theoretical, political heritage of Heydar Aliyev, support realization of ideas of the prominent statesman.  

Visitors left the Foundation under rich impressions.
