Top officials of European Masters Committee Weightlifting visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Top officials of European Masters Committee Weightlifting, who are in Baku to partake in the 4th Azerbaijan Veterans Open Championship, visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, February 24.

They viewed photographs of national leader Heydar Aliyev, a phenomenon personality, skilful diplomat, outstanding politician, noble person, as well certificate and diploma of secondary and higher schools the national leader graduated from with excellent marks, honor certificate for high-level education and exemplary moral, references characterized with only positive qualities in collectives he worked, pictures taken in different points of USSR, cities and districts of Azerbaijan, items in his office.

Guests were told the great leader paid great attention to development of sport, playing considerable role in realization of the sport policy in Azerbaijan. To Heydar Aliyev, development of sport and physical training was personification of supreme ideals of every civil nation, triumph of international influence and positions of state. Governed by exceptional role of sport in promotion of state in the world, the national leader rendered huge care to athletes.
