A delegation led by the Chairman of the Romanian House of Delegates visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

A delegation led by Chairman of the Romanian House of Delegates Valeriu Zqonean  visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, March 15. 

The guests were informed of the objectives and activity of the Foundation established in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

They were informed that the Foundation has been studying and promoting the heritage of the national leader and, by carrying out various humanitarian projects, providing support to Azerbaijan’s progress, development of its culture and studying its history.  

Viewing photos and exhibits taken from Heydar Aliyev’s personal archive and related to various periods of his activity, the guests were shown various documents reflecting different moments of the national leader’s life and giving an idea of a whole period of Azerbaijan’s history, presents given by world-renown political figures, books devoted to the national leader, as well as sayings by influential figures of science, culture and art about Heydar Aliyev, and photos taken during meetings with foreign countries leaders. The mock-up of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline named after Heydar Aliyev aroused special interest in the guests.
