Participants of the “Doves of Peace” International Forum visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Participants of the “Doves of Peace” International Forum held in Baku with support from the Interstate Forum of CIS Countries for Humanitarian Cooperation and represented by CIS countries, Balkan states and Georgia visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, April 17.

Visiting the Foundation in connection with the 90th jubilee of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the participants of the Forum were provided comprehensive information about the Foundation’s activity.

It was informed that the Foundation studies and promotes the rich heritage of the national leader. By implementing various social, economic and cultural projects, it provides support to Azerbaijan’s progress and promotion of its culture and history.

The guests viewed the pictures and exhibits taken from Heydar Aliyev’s personal archive and covering individual periods of his activity, reflecting the most different moments of his life and giving a broad idea of a whole period of our history. They acquainted themselves with materials related to the childhood and youth years  of the eminent political figure, his wide-scale activity as one of the former USSR leaders in Moscow, and the mock-up of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Main Export Pipeline.

Then the participants of the Forum  watched a documentary talking of Heydar Aliyev’s glorious path of life.
