Chief of Iraqi Council of Representatives` Committee on Foreign Relations Humam Hamoody and his accompanied delegation visit the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Chief of Iraqi Council of Representatives` Committee on Foreign Relations Humam Hamoody and his accompanied delegation visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, 17 January.

The guests were informed about the activities and goals of the Foundation. They were told the key purpose of the Foundation, established in the memory of the Azerbaijani people`s national leader Heydar Aliyev, is to study and popularize prominent political figure Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, achieve Azerbaijan`s socioeconomic and cultural progress, assist to projects promoting the country`s history and culture.

The delegates saw exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting the very different aspects of his life and actions and giving a comprehensive idea of the whole history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented by world-known politicians, books dedicated to the national leader, visions said by eminent figures of science, culture and art on the founder of the state of Azerbaijan, also his photographs with leaders of different countries, and a prototype of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main oil export pipeline, which is the fruit of the national leader and named after him.

Mr. Hamoody signed the guest book.
