Deputy Chairman of the Georgian parliament, Chairman of Georgia-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group Fridon Todua and his accompanying delegation visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, January 19.
Informed of the objectives and activities of the Foundation established in the memory of the Azerbaijani people`s national leader Heydar Aliyev, the guests were told the Foundation aims to study and promote the great leader’s rich heritage, support Azerbaijan`s progress, development of its culture and study of its history through socioeconomic and humanitarian projects.
They viewed documents reflecting the very different aspects of Heydar Aliyev’s life and actions and giving a comprehensive idea of the whole history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented by world-known politicians, books dedicated to the great leader, visions said by eminent figures of science, culture and art on the founder of the state of Azerbaijan, his photographs with leaders of different countries.
Fridon Todua signed the guest book.
