President of Hungary Pal Schmitt visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

President of Hungary Pal Schmitt visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, November 11.

Pal Schmitt was welcomed by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva.

The Azerbaijani President briefed his Hungarian counterpart on the activities of the Foundation, established in the loving memory of the Azerbaijani people’s national leader, the main goal of which is to study and popularize Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, and assist to the country`s progress via socioeconomic and humanitarian projects.

The Hungarian President saw exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader, pictures covering various moments of his life.

He was informed of the national leader’s leadership, which has gone down in the history of Azerbaijan as one of the most glorious pages, as well socioeconomic development, huge achievements of the country recognized by the international community.

The distinguished guest saw documents reflecting Heydar Aliyev’s life and providing a comprehensive idea of an entire era of Azerbaijan’s history, gifts by world-known political figures, books written on him, visions said by figures of science, culture and art on the founder of the state of Azerbaijan, also photographs with leaders of other countries.

Pal Schmitt signed the Foundation`s guest book.

President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva handed over a keepsake to the Hungarian President.
