Director General of Qatar News Agency Ahmed Saad Al Buanain visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Director General of Qatar News Agency (QNA) Ahmed Saad Al Buanain, Chief of Agency`s News Department Abdullah Abdurrahman and Director General of AzerTAc Aslan Aslanov visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, November 30.

The visitors were informed of the objectives and activities of the Foundation, which has been established in the memory of the Azerbaijani people`s national leader Heydar Aliyev and aims to study and promote his rich heritage, support Azerbaijan`s progress, culture and history via socioeconomic and humanitarian projects.

They saw pictures taken from the archive of the national leader and covering various moments of his life, were informed of the national leader’s ruling, which has gone down in the history of Azerbaijan as one of the most glorious pages, as well of socioeconomic development, huge achievements of the country recognized by the international community.

The guests saw exhibits reflecting the very different aspects of the great leader’s life and giving a comprehensive idea of the whole history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented by world-known political figures, books dedicated to the great leader, visions said by eminent figures of science, culture and art on the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, also his photographs with leaders of different countries, and a prototype of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline route.

The QNA Director General signed the guest book.
