Participants of the 3rd Eurasian Forum of Accountants and Auditors visit the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Participants of the 3rd Eurasian Forum of Accountants and Auditors that was held in Baku visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, September 17. 

Informed on the history and goals of the Foundation established in the memory of the Azerbaijani people’s national leader, the guests were told the main goal of the Foundation is to study and popularize Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, give an idea to the future generations and foreign visitors about his large-scale activity to achieve Azerbaijan`s socioeconomic and cultural progress, and back the projects promoting the country`s history and culture, as well as to contribute to the realization of the eminent statesman’s dreams through various projects.

They saw the exhibits taken from the archive of Heydar Aliyev and reflecting separate eras of his activities, documents covering the very different moments of the genius person’s life and providing a comprehensive idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, materials on childhood and youth of Heydar Aliyev, his large-scale actions in Moscow as one of leaders of USSR, also a model of BTC oil pipeline route.

The visitors were informed of the great leader’s development strategy that strengthened Azerbaijan and changed it into a leading state in the region.

They were told the national leader has huge merits in the development of an audit in Azerbaijan. Adoption of Law ‘On Auditing Service’ in Azerbaijan and the formation and development of the auditing system in the country is connected to the name of the great leader. Adoption of the Law demonstrated Heydar Aliyev’s devotion to universal democratic values, importance he attached to an audit in the system of the market economy infrastructures.    

The guests signed the guest book and expressed gratitude for the detailed information on life and actions of great leader Heydar Aliyev and activities of the Foundation.
