The Turkish Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation held events to mark the anniversary of the Tragedy of 20th January

The Turkish Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation held events, at the Istanbul and Bursa Uludagh Universities, to mark the anniversary of the Tragedy of 20th January.

Head of the Foundation’s Turkish Representative Office Samir Jafarov informed the visitors of the Bloody January events, Azerbaijani-Armenian, Daghlyg Garabagh conflict, our people’s struggle for independence and protection of our lands. He emphasized that our people’s national leader Heydar Aliyev came immediately after this horrible event to the Permanent Representative Office of Azerbaijan in Moscow and condemned the ruthless killing of innocent people.

Books and brochures were distributed among students and a documentary talking of the Tragedy of 20th January was shown.
