Opening of the Philosophers Hall of the Rome Capitoline Museum repaired with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation took place.

Within the framework of the event held on October 25, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Italy Vagif Sadigov met Rome’s Mayor Ignacio Marino. At the meeting, the current condition of bilateral relations and development perspectives of the cooperation between Rome and Baku were the subject of discussion, and it was emphasized that the repair of part of Rome’s Capitoline Museum by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation will strengthen the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Italy.

After viewing the museum’s Philosophers Hall, Vagif Sadigov and Ignacio  Marino held a joint press conference.

Talking about the Azerbaijan-Italy relations, V.Sadigov said works done by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation were of special significance in this respect.

Highly appreciating the restoration works done by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the Capitoline Museum and having thanked Azerbaijan, Mayor of the city of Rome Ignacio Marino said this initiative will greatly contribute to the cultural relations between the two countries.
