The Heydar Aliyev Foundation organizes an “Evening of Azerbaijan“ in Stuttgart

On November 14, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation held another event within the framework of the project “Promotion of Azerbaijan”. An “Evening of Azerbaijan” was organized in this city, with support from the honorary consulate of Azerbaijan in Stuttgart.

At the “Evening of Azerbaijan”, music by Gara Garayev, Fikret Amirov, Jovdat Hajiyev, performances by People’s Artist Farhad Badalbeyli and Murad Huseynov in piano were sounded, “Minguet Quartett” of the city of Cologne performed.

Honorary consul of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Stuttgart Otto Hauzer said the Azerbaijani music and national traditions are a treasury. He mentioned that historically Azerbaijan was known as a country of tolerance.

Otto Hauzer thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for the organization of the event and said by such projects the Foundation serves the extension of relations between countries, in addition to promoting Azerbaijan in the world: “Azerbaijan is distinguished by its tolerance. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation plays a significant role in keeping the environment of tolerance in the country”. O. Hauzer said in this event Azerbaijan will not only be presented with its music: “Within the event, the Azerbaijani cuisine will also be presented to guests”.

A photo-exhibition entitled “Germans in Azerbaijan” was organized within the event, and publications about Azerbaijan’s history and cultural heritage were presented.
