Representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Turkey held a crowded march in the town of Bursa due to the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, February 25.

The march, held in the central avenue in Bursa, brought together local residents, Azerbaijani students and guests of the town. Participants of the march with state flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey in their hands chanted slogan “All of us are from Khojaly”. Local NGOs read out the appeal to the municipality to name one of the central avenues “Khojaly”.

The march ended with a press statement the officials of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s Office in Turkey read out in front of the monument to Ataturk.

Residents of Bursa also became familiar with photo stands in the square reflecting atrocities committed in Khojaly. Signatures were collected in the event in the framework of the Justice for Khojaly campaign.
