Children's Home-Kindergarten No.78 in Khazar District

Children's Home-Kindergarten No.78 in Khazar District settlement was redeveloped under the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s Support to Education Project. Reconstruction and repair started in February 2011, and on May 9, 2012 the facility was opened.

The total area of the Kindergarten is 3600 m2. The two-storey building totals 2400 m2 together with a basement.

Capable of holding 120 children, the Children's Home-Kindergarten has 6 groups – 1 middle, 1 junior, 2 senior and 2 preschool groups. The building includes separate bedroom, play room, locker room, kitchen and medical point for each group. It also has gymnastics hall, chess, painting and music rooms, as well staff's rest room.

The basement features a storehouse, laundry, kitchen, archive and other rooms. Lunch of children is organized in the centralized way, meals made in the kitchen at the basement are delivered to the floors via the cargo lift.

Improvement works were done in the yard, which has playgrounds and sports facilities for children. Also, 50m³ drinking water and 80m³ fire-prevention reservoirs were constructed, illumination system fully renovated, security cameras and alert systems installed.
