Leyla Aliyeva pays a visit to Republican Special Boarding School №5 for children with restricted health condition

Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva visited Republican Special Boarding School №5 for children with restricted health condition in Narimanov Districts of Baku and acquainted herself with the conditions created here.

Functioning as of 1961, this education institution was reconstructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2006. 267pupils are educated at the school. 145 of the pupils are totally blind, others with impaired vision.

Leyla Aliyeva checked the school canteen and talked here with pupils around a table.

Children from 6 to 20 from all districts of Azerbaijan are studying at the school. Children from districts are living in a hostel designed for 120 people. The school has been provided with necessary equipment to ensure that children receive high-level education.

New computers were presented to children by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Having then visited Music School №38 for visually impaired children, Leyla Aliyeva listened here to pupils’ performances.

204 pupils are educated at this music school.
