Meeting with Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Arturas Jurauskas

Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva met with Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Arturas Jurauskas, March 15. 

Mehriban Aliyeva said she was pleased to welcome the guest to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and wished every success in his activity. Mehriban Aliyeva noted that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation attached great importance to cooperation with Lithuania. Mentioning the works carried out with the former ambassador in this direction, Mehriban Aliyeva expressed a hope the cooperation will be continued.

Discussion was held also on the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lithuanian in the sphere of education, and it was mentioned that currently 104 Azerbaijanis are studying in Lithuania.

The Ambassador was informed of the projects being implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
