Mehriban Aliyeva met with Premier Minister of Bulgaria Plamen Oresharski

On February 20, Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva met with Prime Minister of Bulgaria Plamen Oresharski, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, discussions were held on development of relations between the two countries, holding mutual days of culture in Baku and Sophia, organizing of modern art exhibitions in the Bulgarian capital, laying out a friendship park in Sophia, organizing a concert of Bulgarian musicians, as well as participation of the Bulgarian side in classic music festivals to be organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

It was emphasized during the meeting that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s activity arouse great interest on an international arena and that the projects being realized under the leadership of Mehriban Aliyeva, the chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the First European Games to be held in 2015 in Baku, were praiseworthy.
