Mehriban Aliyeva meets Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Siarto

Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva met with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Siarto, November 3.


Noting the year-by-year developing relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, Mehriban Aliyeva underscored that cooperation between the two countries covered a number of spheres. Emphasizing the developing relations in theeconomic and humanitarian fields, Mehriban Aliyeva talked also about the activities of the Hungarian Embassy in Azerbaijan, underlined its close  relations with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The First Lady talked about the new building of the Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children being constructed in Budapest with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Noting the publication of the book “Azerbaijani-Hungarian Cuisine”, Mehriban Aliyeva emphasized the necessity of doing more such projects in the future, and said the Heydar Aliyev Foundation was ready for cooperation at any time.


Saying it was his fifth visit to Baku, Peter Siarto highly assessed the dynamic development of the Azerbaijani economy. The minister said in each his visit he witnesses major changes in Azerbaijan, and noted that projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation both in Azerbaijan and abroad are highly appreciated.
