Mehriban Aliyeva meets with former president of Bulgaria Petar Stoyanov

Azerbaijan`s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva met with former president of Bulgaria Petar Stoyanov, who is attending the International Humanitarian Forum in Baku, October 10.

Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva expressed confidence the Baku International Humanitarian Forum will contribute to developing cultural relations.

Speaking of Azerbaijan-Bulgaria relations, the First Lady informed Mr. Stoyanov about the activities and goals of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation established in the memory of the Azerbaijani people`s national leader.

Petar Stoyanov thanked for the hospitality, stressing importance of the Baku Humanitarian Forum. He also praised Baku`s hosting such authoritative events. The former Bulgarian president underlined the importance of projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and wished successes to the Foundation in its future activity.
