President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, member of the Milli Majlis Mehriban Aliyeva met with the public in Azizbeyov district

Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP, met with voters on November 6 at Fuad Ferhadoglu secondary school 230 in Shuvalan settlement of Azizbeyov district of Baku.

 

Teachers and pupils of this modern school fundamentally repaired and reconstructed in frame of `New school to new Azerbaijan` program of Heydar Aliyev Foundation sincerely welcomed the distinguished guest.

 

Opening the meeting, held at the large and light conference hall of school, executive director of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Elekberov said: a year passes today from elections to Milli Majlis. Meeting is taking place today with electors on initiative of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, who was elected to Milli Majlis from Azizbeyov constituency II.

 

Important assets have been gained in development of socio-economic field in Azizbeyov district like in every place of Azerbaijan due to wide-scale works, important projects implemented by the country leadership. Big-scale projects are being implemented in the district for the last year on initiative of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP. Works done are highly appreciated by Azizbeyov district public.

 

Tamilla Rajabova, speaking on behalf of Shuvalan settlement residents, said she had come to the meeting with big happiness, noted works done during one year of activity of Mrs Aliyeva as MP are evident. She thanked for settlement of water problem of the settlement that was not solved for years. Applying to Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva she said: I often visit the lonely old woman in my neighborhood. Entering the home I see portraits of You and President Ilham Aliyev on the wall. You will see the same thing at every home in Shuvalan. We wish health to You and Your family and want to always see You as our MP.

 

Teacher Velikhan Abilov talked of expansion of works done for last year in Bina settlement, construction of new school, hospital, culture house, library, supplementary power plant, sport complex, park, new asphalt road to the settlement, water line, settlement of gas supply. He expressed gratitude to Mrs Aliyeva who always respects national and moral values of our people for care to restoration of Imam Rza and Mohsun Selim mosques in settlement. He noted construction of 1176-seat new school building in Hovsan cornerstone of which was attended on June 15 by President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady is rapidly implemented. At the end of his speech he said: we felt pride while You were making speech in English in Azerbaijan Day held in Paris in frame of UNESCO at Your initiative. We also are very glad because except being First Lady of Azerbaijan, You are our MP as well.

 

Greeting Mehriban Aliyeva on behalf of Turkan settlement habitants Metanet Mayilova underlined construction of new asphalt road, polyclinic, park, kindergarten, chess club, first aid building, reconstruction of boarding school, continuation of reconstruction works in the settlement. She valued the table laid in Ramadan holiday for believers on behalf of Mrs Aliyeva as respect to our religious values. She mentioned Turkan residents were impressed by visit of Mrs Aliyeva to the settlement on May 9 this year together with President Ilham Aliyev, `Azizbeyov District Development Fund` helps settlement of problems of district residents, gave best wishes to MP whom they unanimously voted.

 

Resident of Zira settlement Alisahib Mammadov said in his speech: Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva that our grandchildren proudly say `our MP` seeing on TV, when right a year ago You convened the elderly of Zira and asked for problems, I raised several issues on behalf of the village elderly. I thought it might be sin to leave solution of so many problems to a graceful woman. Now after a year passes I have come to say You on behalf of our people `Thank You, God bless Your happy family!`. You have settled the problems that we did not raise, that You have found out by Yourself.

 

Thanking Mehriban Aliyeva for high-level and timely implementation of all promises made during election campaign Bina resident Rahima Bakhshiyeva said: I am proud of You as an Azeri woman. You represent in honorable manner intellectual level, culture, oratory, beauty of our women worldwide, lift prestige of our people and motherland. Thank You very much for all this, works You have done as our MP for a year.

 

Shuvalan settlement habitant Aida Rzayeva said: we all are adult, have lived in different periods but we have not seen such MP fulfilling its promises so consistently, attentively, with care and responsibility. Every family has a share, convenience from Your activity. In the meetings before elections were saw Your sincerity. Always be so, we love You much.

 

Then, employee of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Ilgar Mustafayev gave brief information on works done in Azizbeyov district for the lat year by initiative of Mehriban Aliyeva:

 

Boarding school 16 for children with brain paralysis and poliomyelitis, republican supplementary boarding school for orphans and children deprived of parental care, summer camp of children home 1 in Shuvalan settlement, kindergarten 10 and school 230, united city hospital 31 in Northern DRES settlement were fundamentally restored and reconstructed, 700-seat new school built for secondary school 156. Construction of modern chess center is being designed, roads in Shuvalan settlement have been repaired and illuminated, stops installed. Water line to the settlement has been built. Roofs and fronts of buildings in Northern DRES settlement are being repaired.

 

Gateway has been built in Bina settlement, construction of new building for 1176-seat major school 218 started. Children home-kindergarten 70, Imam Rza and Mohsun Selim Mosques were reconstructed, 110-kv Yeni Bina supplementary station commissioned, water line built to settlement, main roads repaired and illuminated, stops set.

 

In Turkan settlement gateway, Education-Training Center and 300-seat new building for major school 256 were repaired, republican boarding school for children with speech defect, kindergarten 214, city polyclinic 17, branch 25 of first aid station 18 reconstructed, drug store commissioned, ATM set, reconstruction of Turkan Park commenced. Main roads of settlement were repaired, illuminated, stops set along the road.

 

In Zira settlement construction of gateway, 100-seat building for primary school 122 in Gishlag settlement has been completed, monument of oilman Abdulhasan Babayev reconstructed, bas-relief of people`s artist Baba Aliyev opened, ATM set, main roads of settlement were repaired, illuminated, stops set. Construction of Zira Park, culture house and catering complex started.

 

In Mardakan settlement boarding school 2 for orphans and children deprived of parental care, republican special school for boys have been reconstructed, new education building for school 183, building for district central library built. Reconstruction works are underway at Azizbeyov Culture House, reconstruction of Pir Hasan sanctuary completed.

 

In Buzovna settlement extra building has been built for secondary school 206, reconstruction of 1296-seat school, Juma Mosque began.
