President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attend a ceremony held to commemorate the victims of the Khojaly tragedy

On February 26, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the commemorative ceremonyin connection with the 24^th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

President Ilham Aliyev put a wreath before the monument and expressed esteem for the memory of the tragedy victims. 

Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva put flowers before the monument. 

The ceremony was attended by state and government representatives, MPs, ministers, heads of committees and companies, heads of religious confessions, as well as residents of Khojaly who could escape this killings.
