Nursery-kindergarten No.80 basically reconstructed following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative is commissioned into operation

Inauguration of Nursery-kindergarten No.80 in Narimanov district of Baku, reconstructed following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative, took place, March 6.

 

Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the inauguration.

 

Mehriban Aliyeva became familiarized with the conditions created in the nursery-kindergarten.

 

It was informed that, commissioned into operation in 1963, designed for 115 children, the kindergarten started to operate in 6 groups. After the basic reconstruction works, the number of the groups was brought to 8, and the establishment’s capacity was increased to serve 150 children. Along with Azerbaijani and Russian sections, English groups have been created as a pilot project. All conditions are available here to engage in the education of children from one and a half to six years of age. Before the reconstruction, two out of the four buildings of the kindergarten were single-storey, other two being two-storied. Additional second floors were built on the single-story buildings during the reconstruction. In the newly constructed floor, additional two groups, a music hall and other methodology rooms were created. Moreover, the single-storey crossing between the buildings was demolished and a two-storied crossing was constructed in its place. The kindergarten has been provided with necessary furniture and equipment. A video surveillance, fire alarm and state-of-the-art illumination systems have been installed in the building. Extensive renovation works have been carried out in the front yard, evergreen trees planted, natural layer of grass laid out, shades and entertainment facilities installed for children’s recreation, and statues of children’s favourite animation film characters were placed. In one word, all conditions have been created in the establishment to make sure that children spend their leisure interestingly and efficiently.
