Cornerstone of children`s art school laid in Shamakhy at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation

On the eve of New Year, cornerstone of building of the Nasimi Children`s Art School was laid in Shamakhy City by the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Created half a century ago the School was under bad conditions, since it was not capitally repaired for long.

According to Sevinj Mahmudaligyzy, the architect of the School’s new building, the building, which is constructed by the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, covers 3264sq.m. The building will include painting, dance, training and teacher rooms, assembly hall, exhibition hall, buffet, in general 54 rooms supplied with modern equipment. Renovation works will be done in the School yard.

Construction of the 3-floor School is scheduled to be completed in 2010.
