President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva visited children homes in Nizami and Surakhani districts

On March 16, Mehriban Aliyeva attended Novruz Holiday Party arranged by Heydar Aliyev Foundation at Children Home1 in Nizami district.

 

First Lady of Azerbaijan was sincerely welcomed by the children.

 

In the lobby decorated on the occasion of holiday children performed rhythmic dances and songs. Mrs Aliyeva saw boys and girls in national clothes making carpet, garment, ornamentals, exhibition of their handworks.

 

At the diner of the children training institution Mehriban Aliyeva viewed the musical composition arranged on Novruz Holiday. Employees of the Foundation laid tables rich of sweets and fruits, served along with nurses the children.

 

Performance by `Azeri` Song and Dance Group, created in 2003, winner of domestic contests for many times, having paid visits to foreign countries, received loud ovation. Art director of the group is Rovshan Mammadov, ballet-master Nazim Abdullayev. In April the group will attend the tradition children festival in Istanbul due to financial support of the Foundation. Modern ball dance performed by Teravet and Ibrahim, dance `Naz eleme` by Yasemen and Yalchyn, song-dances `Chobanlar`, `Arpa chay`, `Azerbayjanym` performed by the group, comic scenes by little actors, dance `Yally` performed by all the participants of the party was specially interesting.

 

President of the Foundation served the children sitting with her at the table, had fun and was taken picture with them.

 

Mehriban Aliyeva said in every visit she sees innovations at the children home, saw the reading room newly arranged, expressed satisfaction of conditions created for providing efficient leisure to the children.

 

Director Narmina Zohrabova congratulated Mehriban Aliyeva on Novruz Holiday on behalf of children. She said at this training and education center fundamentally repaired and reconstructed in frame of Children Homes and Boarding Schools Development Programme of Heydar Aliyev Foundation on initiative of Mrs Aliyeva who has visited the children home for many times there is every condition to form artistic and aesthetic taste and arrange leisure of children. Large reconstruction works have been done in the yard, lawns, rest corners created. Children love talking the air, resting, playing sport games. The children home is fully supplied with new appliances, medical rooms. The children home involves 107 children and 44 teachers and trainers. Children from this children home were winners of various sport, art, music contests for many times, awarded diplomas and honor certificates.

The same day Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva visited Children Home 2 in Surakhany district on the occasion of Novruz Holiday.

 

Coming here last time Mrs Aliyeva presented a microbus to this institution. At the time there was no diner and children were given food in rooms. Being aware of this Mehriban Aliyeva initiated construction of diner.

 

Mrs Aliyeva saw bedrooms, doctor`s room. Then she came to the newly built diner within 380 sq.m, saw photos reflecting previous and current state of the area, saw familiarized with food warehouse, kitchen of the diner, took interest in food supply, norms, hygienic situation.

 

Hagigat Sultanova, the eldest nurse at the home, expressed on behalf of everyone gratitude to Mehriban Aliyeva for nice conditions created, as well special thanks for works she does towards delivering the realities on Khojaly massacre to the world.

 

Then, a film was shown on organization of training and education work at the children home, successes children gained in various spheres.

 

4-year-old Aytaj sincerely embraced Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva.

 

All the children greeted Mrs Aliyeva with one voice. Then applying to Mehriban Aliyeva presenters of the party said:

 

`Dear Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, it is nice to see You in our Novruz Holiday party. We cordially congratulate You on our precious holiday.

 

Works done within New School to New Azerbaijan Programme of Heydar Aliyev Foundation brought convenience and happiness to thousands of families of our people, created good education opportunities.

 

Like other 28 children homes and boarding schools our institution also was repaired and fully supplied with new appliances and every condition in frame of Children Homes and Boarding Schools Development Programme implemented on Your initiative. We promise in reply to the care You render to us we will study well, become useful people for our homeland and nation.

 

We wish success to You and our dear President in big works You do. We express our love for You`.

 

Dances and songs followed each other, children performed Novruz scenes, had fun.

 

Leaving the children home the President of the Foundation once more congratulated everyone on the holiday, requested the trainers not to forget that their trouble is the biggest charity and look after the children as their own ones.
