90th anniversary of the national leader was celebrated at a school named after Heydar Aliyev in Astrakhan

A series of events have been held to celebrate the 90th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Baku city Narimanov district’s Executive authority, at Secondary School №11 named after Heydar Aliyev.

A competition with schoolchildren’s creative works on the theme of “The Heritage of Heydar Aliyev”, a competition with paintings on the theme of “School №11 named after Heydar Aliyev is my beloved school” and a competition of guides on the school’s Russia-Azerbaijan Friendship Museum exposition have been announced, and lessons, an open  lesson and talks devoted to Heydar Aliyev’s life and activity, a friendship subbotnik called “Let us keep our school cleaner” will be held. During the days of jubilee, winners of the competitions will be rewarded at the assembly hall of the school on behalf of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and best schoolchildren and teachers of the school will be presented traditional prizes.
