President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of new school building constructed in Goranboy at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of new building for Complete Secondary School No3 in Goranboy, January 21. 

The President cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening.

He was informed the new building for 420 students was constructed at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The old building of the School was built in 1935. The construction of the new building started early last year. The 2-storied facility covers 0,5 hectares.

The photo gallery reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s, President Ilham Aliyev`s and President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva`s care and attention to the development of education was set up in the foyer of the building. Classrooms, labs and other rooms have been provided with every condition for the high-level education.

The President was familiarized with classrooms, including IT room where all computers have Internet access.

The School has a conference room, a library with over 5000 books and a corner dedicated to the activities of President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva. 

President Ilham Aliyev met and was photographed with young sportsmen in the gym of the School.

He appreciated the circumstances created at the School.
