Gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation are presented on the Day of Knowledge
The Day of Knowledge was celebrated in Azerbaijani schools on 15th September. The event held in this connection in Narimanov district of Baku was attended by heads of the Narimanov District Executive Authority, New Azerbaijan Party’s Narimanov District organization, deputies of the Milli Majlis, a representative of the Ministry of Education, as well as teachers, pupils and parents.
Director of the school Namidar Huseynguluyev thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for the care and attention shown towards developing education in the country.
At the end of the ceremony, pupils of Republican Boarding School No.5 were presented gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation – school bags and teaching aids to 80 pupils, and school uniforms to 40 pupils from law-income families.
On September 15, a Day of Knowledge was also celebrated in Secondary School No.9 of Shusha district operating in the “Rabitechi” Recreation Camp of the Ministry of Communication and High Technologies located in Goradil settlement. Here, pupils were presented teaching aids – gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
On the Day of Knowledge, inauguration of the newly constructed secondary school building took place in Aral-1 village of Aghdash district. Those speaking at the event mentioned that recently new school buildings have been constructed with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and existing ones basically reconstructed in Aghdash district.
At the ceremony, first-form pupils were presented gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
