President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of school No.119 after major repair in Turkan settlement

President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of school No.119 after major repair in Turkan settlement of Khazar district.

President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation cut the red ribbon and was presented flowers.

The First Lady was acquainted with the new building constructed on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for primary classes, as well as with a music room, classrooms, a dining room, a conference hall and gym.

Built in 1966, the 550-seat school has been substantially repaired within the New School to New Azerbaijan Program of the Foundation and provided with high-quality equipment. 238 children are educated at the 300-seat new building. The Foundation has provided the School with 40 computers. The building includes a photo stand reflecting the care and attention shown by national leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva  towards education, a 120-seat conference hall, a library with 18.000 books, a diner and a centralized camera-control system.
