President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates secondary school in Gabala constructed at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation

During his visit to Gabala district, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inaugurated Complete Secondary School No.2 in Nij settlement, November 17.

The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the School constructed at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. 

The old building of the School built in 1930 was quite improper. The construction of the new building started in April, 2011. The 4-storied building meeting the modern requirements was built for a short time within 1 hectare.

The foyer of the School features a photo corner reflecting the care and attention of national leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijan`s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva to the development of education in the country.

The School has 20 classrooms, 2 laboratories and other rooms with every circumstance and latest equipments.

President Ilham Aliyev inspected classrooms at the School, which owns a gym meeting high standards, 200-seat assembly hall, computer room with high speed Internet, and on the second floor a library with over 5000 literatures.

The School also includes a football pitch in the yard where improvement and verdurization works were done.

President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the staff of the School on the opening and wished success.
