President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of secondary school No.326 in Bina Settlement

Secondary school No.326 in Bina Settlement of the Khazar District constructed within the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s “New school to new Azerbaijan” Program was opened, September 14. First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, member to the Milli Majlis from the Khazar District Mehriban Aliyeva attended the ceremony.

 

Mehriban Aliyeva cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the school, of which foundation was laid in 2010. It was informed that this secondary school’s building has been designed for 880 schoolchildren. Modern type three-storied school complex is located in 1.26 hectares. The school has 44 classrooms conforming to the latest education standards, in addition, subject rooms and laboratories, a computer room, a library, a sports hall, a canteen  and 200-seat assembly hall. Primary military training, preschool education room, laboratories and labour rooms have been created to ensure that schoolchildren receive comprehensive knowledge and skills. First time in Azerbaijan, an electronic information board has been installed at the school. One of the other features is that pupils of primary and higher classes will be taught in separate buildings. Also, 1st  grade children were presented school bags by the Foundation.

 

The school has been provided with uninterrupted electricity and heating. There is a 60-seat canteen to ensure children’s proper and timely nutrition. Rest corners have been created for primary class pupils. Football, volleyball and basketball grounds have been created here.

 

The new school constructed on the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative will enable to ease pupil density at existing education establishments in the settlement,   create better conditions for their quality education and ensure the employment of a number of teachers and service personnel.
