President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of secondary school No.120 in Zira Settlement of the Khazar District

First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, member to the Milli Majlis from the Khazar District Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of secondary school No.120 in Zira Settlement of the Khazar District, September 14.

Mehriban Aliyeva cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the school. The First Lady familiarized herself with the conditions created at the school. Built in 1960, consisting of two buildings, the school was demolished in August of the last year and, on the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative, a new school consisting of 5 buildings was constructed in its place. Currently, 1404 schoolchildren may be thought at the school.

Mehriban Aliyeva viewed the classrooms and subject rooms. The school has 54 classrooms, subject rooms, a library with rich book stock, electronic library, computer rooms and language laboratory, assembly and conference rooms, rest rooms, a canteen, cafeteria and teachers’ rooms.

The school’s yard has been improved and decorative shrubs and trees planted there. In addition, rest corners have been created here.

The First Lady familiarized herself with a newly constructed sports ground. With 52 viewer seats, the pitch has been covered with artificial grass. Here, there is a running strip, basketball, volleyball, tennis and mini-football pitches. Primary military trainings may also be conducted on the pitch.
