New school built in Garagoyunlu village of Aghsu district at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation opened

Opening ceremony of new building for secondary school in Garagoyunlu village of Aghsu district, construction of which started in 2008 at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, took place. Built in the modern architectural style, the 220-seat and 2-floor building has every facility to assure the high-level education. Head of Aghsu District Executive Power Enver Seyidaliyev congratulated in the ceremony teachers and pupils on the launch of the new building on the eve of the 88th birthday of national leader Heydar Aliyev. Mentioning aphorism ‘Education is the future of nation’ by the great leader, he talked of the contributions of the national leader to the development of education in the country after he retuned to the power for the second time at the nation’s request.

Mr Seyidaliyev said under President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership measures are taken to strengthen educational logistics in Azerbaijan, mentioned huge merits of Mehriban Aliyeva, the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, in this sphere. Only in Aghsu district 15 new schools have been opened in the past 5 years, 9 of which were initiated by Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Graduate of the Garagoyunlu School, Professor at the Azerbaijan State Economic University Sifariz Sabzaliyev, resident of the village Aghamehdi Aliyev, businessman Sadagat Mammadov, Director of the School Rafig Yolchuyev addressed the event, expressed gratitude to Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva for the valuable gift.

Graduate of the School, Director of Sobsan Company Javid Sabzaliyev donated 2 sets of computer to the new educational center.
