Participants of first Baku meeting of GUAM Countries’ Writers visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

The participants of the 1st Baku Meeting of GUAM Countries’ Writers have visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on June 4.

Guests were informed of objectives of the Foundation established in memory of national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.

Writers were familiarized with the exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader reflecting separate eras of his activity, numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of genius person’s life and creating a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, saw also photos reflecting actions of Heydar Aliyev in Moscow as one of leaders of USSR. They were informed the national leader always rendered huge respect and attention to writers and poets, figures of culture.

It was noted main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socio-economic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support international projects started by the genius person, help the works implemented in field of wide propaganda of Azeri culture and history. The Foundation also performs large-scale projects, makes contribution to realization of the national leader’s dreams.

Visitors were deeply impressed by familiarization with the Foundation.

The Foundation was presented books by Azerbaijani writers published in Ukrainian language, folk stories and a work by Ukrainian artist.
