Svetlana Medvedyeva: the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Social and Cultural Initiatives Foundation may together solve significant issues

“Humanitarian relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are of special importance and valuable today. I hope cooperation between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Social and Cultural Initiatives Foundation will be more active”.

These words were said, in an interview, by Svetlana Medvedyeva – the spouse of the Russian Federation’s Premier Minister Dmitri Medvedyev, President of the Social and Cultural Initiatives Foundation, who had participated in the Eurasian Women’s Forum.

She underscored that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, under the leadership of Mehriban Aliyeva, and headed by her charitable foundation may solve, applying joint efforts, a number of issues aimed at protection of women and children. Women are capable of benevolent initiative due to their soft policy. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, headed by Mehriban Aliyeva, and the Social and Cultural Initiatives Foundation may, together, solve significant issues. I’m confident we will definitely carry out these works, and will be pleased with the fruitful cooperation”, - said S. Medvedyeva in conclusion.
