A concert dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is held
On May 4th, a concert programme called “An Echo of 20 Years” was presented at the Heydar Aliyev Center. The concert conveyed a symbolic meaning both by its participants, as well as by its repertoire. So, now celebrating the 20th anniversary of its activity, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has, throughout all the years of its activity, provided support to young talents, to the sphere of culture and art, implementing projects aiming at wide promotion of our culture.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has provided support to the education of our youth, as well as their participation in international contests, and festivals. The Foundation’s projects in various fields, including mugham contests, projects associated with national, classic and Jazz music, various music festivals have stimulated the revealing of new talents, and their advancement.
Persons of art and culture, in whose creativity the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has its footprint, by creating a turning point and causing a rapid leap, performed at the concert to be held on May 4th.
The concert programme started by a show of a video trailer related to the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and the works carried out in the field of culture.
Thereafter, persons of culture in whose creativity the Foundation has its footprint, such as Aytan Maharramov (khanende), Azer Zadeh (tenor), Azer Zeynalov (tenor), Jeyla Seyidova (violin), Elchin Azizov (baritone), Emil Afrasiyab (piano), Emin Jabrailov (naghara), Elvin Hodja Ganiyev (violin), Enver Sadygov (garmon), Farhad Badalbeyli (piano), Fuad Ibrahimov (conductor), Gullu Muradova (khanende), Ilham Nazarov (baritone), Isfar Sarabski (piano), Miralam Miralamov (khanende), Murad Adygozalzade (piano), Mustafa Mehmandarov (conductor), Sahib Pashazade (tar), Shariyar Imanov (tar), Samad Eyvazly (ballet dancer), Samir Jafarov (tenor), Tayyar Bayramov (khanendeh) etc. performed at the concert.
Works by Azerbaijani and foreign composer, as well as popular Azerbaijani songs were performed at the concert. Each performance was accompanied by special video images covering the 20-year activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, its projects in various spheres, including the events organized abroad aiming to promote Azerbaijan, as well as mugham contests and festivals.
In the works carried out by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation over the course of its 20-year activities under the leadership of First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva, based on the ideas of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, preservation of national, cultural and moral values and promotion thereof have been attached a special importance, reaching significant achievements by its projects in the spheres of science and education, healthcare and social issues, and winning the love and confidence of people. Contribution made by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the advancement of culture is undeniable, and the concert held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Foundation may be deemed as a small part of these achievements.
