An exhibition entitled “Pomegranate drops” devoted to Azerbaijan was opened in Russia

Opening of an exhibition entitled “Pomegranate drops” devoted to Azerbaijan was held at the exhibition hall of the Russian State Humanitarian University, following the initiative  of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.


Authors of the paintings displayed at the exhibition were teachers and students that had made a trip to Azerbaijan in summer of this year.


Addressing the event, rector of the Russian State Humanitarian University Yefim Pivovar said this was the first time such an exhibition was held at a higher education establishment he had been heading. The rector said relations between Azerbaijan and Russia developed well. Noting the significance of such events in strengthening cultural relations, Y.Pivovar underlined that such exhibitions would be held at the university in future too.


The rector thanked Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, head of the Russian Representation of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva for organization of a trip of teachers and students of the university.


Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation Polad Bulbuloglu noted that various projects have been implemented since the establishment of the Russian Representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and that these projects aimed at strengthening the relations between Russia and Azerbaijan.


Other speakers too thanked those who have contributed to the organization of the exhibition and highly assessed projects of this kind implemented by the Russian Representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundations.
