Days of Azerbaijan organized in Paris come to an end

Days of Azerbaijan being held with the objective of more closely introducing Azerbaijan’s historical treasures, rich cultural heritage and realities to the French, within the framework of the “Azerbaijani Camp” on Saint Sulpice Square of Paris city’s 6th District, with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Azerbaijan’s Embassy in France, came to an end, September 28.

 

On September 28, on the last day of the series of events that had been held since September 19, masters of art performed our classic and national music in ancient music instruments.

 

During these ten days, residents of Paris and city visitors were presented books talking about Azerbaijan’s history, culture, literature, art and music. Those visiting the camp received a chance to get acquainted with exhibitions related to the life and creativity of great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi, as well as exhibitions of national men and women garments, and samples of coppersmithery art, rich cuisine and wines being produced in Azerbaijan.

 

During these days, Azerbaijani masters of art performed before the French audience with mugham and popular songs, national dances and jazz music.
