A trip was organized for children with Down Syndrome to Poland

A trip was organized for Azerbaijani children with Down Syndrome and their parents to Cracow, with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Poland.


Within the framework of the trip, the children acquainted themselves with the city of Cracow, participated in various tournaments, sport competitions were held with their participation, trips arranged for children to Cracow Chocolate Factory and Cracow Radio. Children also participated in therapy seminars at Ventskovitse organized for children suffering from autism by Life Farm, Brat Albert and Anna Dimnan’s “Mimo Wszystko”( (Despite everything) Foundations.


DEJELLER (Pranks) Theatre of Down Syndrome Peoples’ Association have performed at the  Yulius Slovatski" Theatre in Cracow as special guests of the “Albert 2013” Theatre and Music Creativity Festival.


Anna Dimnan’s “Mimo Wszystko” (Despite everything) Foundation and Brat Albert Foundation have taken active part in the trip’s organization.


It should be noted that, in December 2012, the Embassy of the Polish Republic in Azerbaijan organized a series of trainings and courses at the Association of Down Syndrome people. During two weeks, therapeutists of Anna Dimnan’s “Mimo Wszystko” (Despite everything) Foundation have held trainings in Baku for children, their parents and new students.
