The Heydar Aliyev Foundation held an event in Romania to mark the International Child Protection Day
On June 1-2, an event devoted to June 1st - the International Child Protection Day - was held with support from and cooperation with the Romanian Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. A festival entitled “Integration of Disabled and Physically Handicapped Children into Society“ took place with organization support from the Gendarmerie Service of Romania, the 5th and 6th sectors of the city of Bucharest and the Conil Association.
1500 children, including disabled and physically handicapped, have joined the festival. Pupils of various schools and kindergartens operating in Romania have played various shows. They were rewarded.
Organizers of the event thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and President of the Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the humanitarian and charitable activity in Romania.
