Wedding of Tofig Ahadov, a Sabail district resident deprived of parental care, was held under the initiative and support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation on the occasion of February 2 – Day of Azerbaijani Youth. 

Representatives of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, youth of the district distinguished in the production, education, business and sports, representatives of the district public attended the wedding at ‘Neolit’ Wedding Palace.

Addressing the ceremony, Spokeswoman of the Foundation Mahabbat Mehdiyeva said national leader Heydar Aliyev always wanted to see the Azerbaijani youth strong in all senses. She mentioned by the order of the great leader the Ministry of Youth and Sports was established, February 2 was instituted as Day of Azerbaijani Youth.

Mrs Mehdiyeva said President Ilham Aliyev always pays attention to the solution of problems of the youth and future generation. Noting the work with juveniles and youth is one of the key directions in the activity of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its president Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, she informed of the projects performed in this field. According to her, all preparations and organizational actions for the wedding have been done by Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Officials of the Foundation M.Mehdiyeva və I.Mustafayev congratulated newly married Tofig and Elina on behalf of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, First Lady of Azerbaijan, wished them happiness. The young family was presented with precious gifts by the Foundation.

Tofig Ahadov expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.

A group of youth of Sabail district distinguished in the district’s public-political life, education and sports received honor certificates and precious gifts in the event.
