Novruz celebration was held at the Othman Mirzayev Children’s Home of Mixed Type in the town of Lankaran at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, March 15.

Deputy Head of Lankaran City Executive Power Samadagha Abdullayev congratulated children on Novruz Holiday, expressed gratitude to Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, for the care and attention to children deprived of parental care.

Music groups of the district performed in the event, which featured various performances from Kosa and Kechel.

Specially cooked pilau was brought to the party to the sound of national dance. 

Children received gifts in the event.
