Low-income families in Sabirabad receive Novruz gifts due to support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Charity event was held in Sabirabad district due to support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, March 17.

Martyr families, WWII veterans, the disabled from the Garabagh war and Chernobyl participated in the event organized on the occasion of Novruz Holiday.

Head of Sabirabad District Executive Power Nazim Ismailov congratulated the attendees on Novruz Holiday, talked of large-scale reconstruction works ongoing in the district thanks to President Ilham Aliyev. Stressing the permanent care from the government to low-income families, he underlined Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, enjoys huge national love for her public-political actions and charitable deeds.

Chairman of the District Veterans Council Zulfali Aliyev, father of a National Hero Islam Aghayev, father of a martyr Ziyadkhan Gozalov, Chernobyl disabled Adalet Rahimov and others expressed deep gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva for the care and attention.

In the event, up to 1000 low-income families received gifts on behalf of Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
