President Ilham Aliyev attends inauguration of the Child-Youth Artistic Creativity Centre in Aghsu

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended inauguration of the Child-Youth Artistic Creativity Centre in Aghsu,constructed following the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, October 30. 

With the foundation laid on 29 October 2009 with participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Centre’s territory has been widely improved, many trees and shrubs have been planted, and a necessary infrastructure created. In the Centre’s yard, a corner dedicated to well-known persons of art from Aghsu Mikail Mirza, Samandar Rzayev and Rasim Balayev has been created, and exhibits related to their life and creativity are displayed there. 

Photo stands dedicated to national leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva has been created in the building’s foyer. 

Tar, kamancha, piano and other musical subjects will be taught at the Centre. Classrooms and other secondary rooms have been provided with the latest equipment. There is a room here dedicated to Ashyg Shakir, one of the well-known representatives of the folk art. All necessary conditions have been created in the centre’s 80-seat hall to hold various events.

President Ilham Aliyev listened to performances of Aghsu Music School’s pupils.
