A new stadium was put into operation on the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative in Bina Settlement

A new stadium built by AFFA on the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative in Bina Settlement of the Khazar District meeting FIFA Standards was put into operation, September 13. First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, member of the Milli Majlis Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony.

The First Lady of Azerbaijan cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening. It was informed that, with artificial grass cover, the stadium has 600 viewer seats, a monitor to demonstrate games on a wide format, physician’s and referee’s rooms. Participating teams of the  FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup to be held in recent days in Baku will have their trainings just in this stadium. After the World Cup, matches of Azerbaijan’s first division’s teams will be held here.

Mehriban Aliyeva met with the national U-17 women’s team of Azerbaijan.

The First Lady was presented an official T-shirt of our national team. Mehriban Aliyeva put a signature of success on the ball our national team would play with in the championship.
