“Gayghy” Rehabilitation Centre for children with cerebral palsy

“Gayghy” Rehabilitation Centre located in Nasimi district of Baku was built in 1952. Reconstruction works started at the Centre in 2012. On May 3, 2013, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of the Centre.

 

Additional 73 m2-building and 265 m2-covered swimming pool designed for the treatment of physically disabled children were constructed at the Centre. Special training devices were installed for patients with cerebral palsy.

 

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has provided the Centre with all necessary equipment.

 

The kindergarten type centre has been designed for 30 to 50 children suffering cerebral palsy. 3 to 6  years old children on 3 groups will be brought up and treated here.
