Fashion show entitled “From Traditions to Future Azerbaijan Glamour" and presentation of Azerbaijani national cuisine in Cannes
On 12 June 2014, within the framework of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture being held with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the French city of Cannes, a fashion show called “From Traditions to Future Azerbaijan Glamour” by Italian fashion designer Renato Balestra took place.
The project “From Tradition to Future Azerbaijan Glamour” aims to eternalize Azerbaijan’s national traditions and values, support integration of national ornaments into contemporary fashion, at the same time to form unity between the Western and Eastern cultures.
The first presentation of the collection made on the basis of Azerbaijan’s national ornaments took place on 31 May 2014 at the Heydar Aliyev Center, Baku.
