An exhibition and a gala concert within the framework of “Days of Hungary”

On March 17, 2017, inauguration of an art exhibition and a gala concert took place in the Heydar Aliyev Centre, within the framework of the “Days of Hungary in Azerbaijan”. First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the event.

 

Serving the promotion of the Hungarian culture in Azerbaijan, this project has been organized in the framework of a cooperation between the Embassy of Hungary in Azerbaijan and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

 

Opening of an art exhibition comprised of works by Hungarian artist Ferenc Eisenhut took place within the framework of the “Days of Hungary in Azerbaijan”.

 

Pictures drawn by Ferenc Eisenhut late in the 19th and early in the 20th centuries in Baku and, in general, in the Caucasus are among the rare pearls of the world cultural heritage and, 26 of them are demonstrated for the first time in Baku, within the framework of the “Days of Hungary in Azerbaijan”.

 

Then, a gala concert with participation of Hungary’s State Folk Ensemble took place.

 

The concert by the State Folk Ensemble of Hungary, performed by a staff of 70 musicians, was accompanied by Hungarian folk music and dances.
