Mehriban Aliyeva met with Ihsan Dogramaci

On April 29, Ihsan Dogramaci and persons accompanying him have visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Khanum Aliyeva has informed visitors about the Foundation created as a token of respect to memory of the national leader of Azerbaijan people and its purposes.

Ihsan Dogramaci and persons accompanying him have familiarized with the personal archive of the national leader, the exhibits concerning to the separate periods of his activity, including the numerous pictures reflecting various moments of the life of Heydar Aliyev, creating wide representation about the whole period of the history of Azerbaijan, with the books devoted to the outstanding son of the Azerbaijan people. Unique photos once again confirm that this ingenious person has passed a rich and substantial life.

Visitors with great interest got acquainted with the pictures covering about the 35-years period of management of the founder of independent Azerbaijan. But special interest aroused Heydar Aliyev`s activity during independence of Azerbaijan when the country has turned to the leader on Southern Caucasus, has caused found reflection in photos.

After acquaintance with the Foundation, Ihsan Dogramaci has left record in the Book of Guests of Honor.

During conversation, the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Khanum Aliyeva has told that the important place in activity of Foundation holds rendering assistance to the children - orphans deprived of parental trusteeship, sick children, children`s homes, boarding schools where they are trained, brought up, treated, preparation and realization of special programs. From the beginning of activity of the Foundation, 10 children`s homes and boarding schools have been already repaired.

Having stated gratitude to Mehriban Aliyeva for so noble activity, Ihsan Dogramaci has noted that he was connected with the big friendship with the national leader of Azerbaijan people Heydar Aliyev who in due time has suggested to mark his anniversaries in Azerbaijan. This year, it was offered to him to mark the 90th anniversary worldwide, even from Japan the special plane has been sent. However, I. Dogramaci has told, I am in Azerbaijan and shall mark here the anniversary. Today, Heydar Aliyev is not present with us, and however, memory of him always will live in our hearts.

Ihsan Dogramaci has noted that has decided to help the Foundation in implementation of desires of the true friend, pride of the Turkic world Heydar Aliyev, and with a view of support carried out under initiative of Mehriban Khanum, he would during 10 years annually transfer on account of the Foundation 100 thousand US dollars from the personal means.

During acquaintance with the Foundation, the visitors were accompanied by the head of department of humanitarian policy of the President Administration Fatma Abdullazade, the ambassador of Azerbaijan in Turkey Mammad Aliyev.
