President Ilham Aliyev opened the Children`s Technical Creative Center in Salyan district built at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev opened the Children`s Technical Creative Center in Salyan district built at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, March 13.

The President cut a ribbon to officially open the Center.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed in March 2011, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation initiated construction of the new building for the Center, which had been operating since 1985 in an unsuitable building. The Center has been provided with all necessary infrastructure and equipment. The area of the Center has been improved, trees and flowers have been planted.

The foyer houses photo galleries reflecting the many-sided activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, as well as visits of the national leader and the President to Salyan.

President Ilham Aliyev saw photographs depicting the previous and present look of the Center and got familiar with children`s handicrafts in the exhibition hall.

The Center has a library, service rooms and studios on the first floor. 2 rooms here have been designed for the children’s library of the district. The second floor displays photographs on the Center’s actions and diplomas children have won in different competitions. Circles of physics, young chess players, modeling, primary technical modeling, skilful hands, young designer, English aim at the intellectual development of children. 1772 children will be involved in 10 circles in the Center, which has been equipped with state-of-the-art appliances.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the conditions in the Center and gave instructions and recommendations.
