An evening devoted to the opening of the “Four Seasons Hotel Baku” and an exhibition in connection with the 5th anniversary of “Baku” magazine’s publication in Russian (“Баку” - in Russian) were held

An evening devoted to the opening of the five-star “Four Seasons Hotel Baku” and an exhibition in connection with the 5^thanniversary of “Baku” magazine’s publication in Russian were held, November 17.

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and chief editor of “Baku” magazine Leyla Aliyeva attended the event.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of foreign countries ‘embassies operating in Azerbaijan, local and foreign media, well-known businessmen, persons of culture and art. 

The unique design by Jeff Litem, the art expert of the “Four Seasons” Hotel network, who came from Paris, to the evening devoted to the opening of the “Four Seasons Hotel Baku” amazed the guests.

In the foyer of the Hotel’s second floor, the guests listened to people’s and composer songs in performance of Honoured Artist Azer.

Then the guests viewed the photo-exhibition devoted to the 5^th anniversary of “Baku” magazine,  which started to be printed in 2007 in Moscow in Russian. Photos by well-known photographers reflecting the fashion and modern style of Baku were displayed.

During the past five years, the magazine has become one of the world’s leading print media and gained numerous readers. During this period, presentation of the magazine was held in a number of countries. Interesting materials about Azerbaijan’s history, culture, past and present have been printed in the magazine. With one of the main objectives to promote our country in a wider geographic area, “Baku” magazine has been implementing significant  projects aimed to deliver Azerbaijan’s truth to the world society.

The event continued with an extensive concert program with participation of local and foreign dance groups and music bands.
